Cinnamon Raisin Flax Crackers
Ingredients:
1c. flax seeds
2c. water
3/4c. raisins+1/4c. raisins
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 banana
1/2 t. sea salt
Preparation:
Soak the seeds in the water for about 2 hours, and do not strain. Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, stirring in additional 1/4 c. raisins by hand. Spread the mixture onto parchment paper on dehydrator trays. Dehydrate for overnight at 115 degrees. Remove from parchment paper and cut to desired size.
This is a good reason why I want a dehydrator. But, I had to get a new laptop to keep working. One day soon. I can smell the cinnamon now :D
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do like these, I LOVE the spicy flax seed crackers... maybe you can find a decent dehydrator on craigslist. I really want an excalibur but mine will do for now :)
