Perfect Raw Vegan Mac Nut Pesto

I've always looked for a great vegan pesto and this one I modified from Vegan with a Vengance, an awesome cookbook I bought a while back. I use mac nuts instead of walnuts and for sure use the nutritional yeast, 86 the lemon juice and add a bit more of olive oil to combat the salt and stretch a little further.

1/4 c. Macadamia nuts
1 1/2 c. packed basil leaves
1-2 cloves garlic smashed/minced
3/4 t. salt
1/2 c. olive oil
1/8 c. nutritional yeast

Process nuts, salt and garlic in the food processor till nuts are fine pieces, add the rest and pulse till pesto is "slightly grainy paste, not a puree." Enjoy!
